New MERIDA MISSION impresses the (inter)national cycling press
The embargo period for the brand new MERIDA MISSION gravel race bike was lifted last month – and the first test results from the international and Dutch cycling world are downright promising. Leading cycling media outlets such as BikeRumor, Gran Fondo Magazine, and Racefietsblog have now published their initial findings, and they are all enthusiastic about the speed, versatility, and racing DNA of our latest gravel racing machine. Several journalists were invited to Girona to put the new MERIDA MISSION through its paces for three days in its natural habitat.

International enthusiasm: fast, versatile, and race-ready
BikeRumor particularly praises the pure speed of the MISSION and sees the bike as the perfect choice for riders who come from the road:
“ Merida created a lightning-fast gravel bike... It feels so fast that you could mount some fat slicks onto it and have a killer all-road bike."
According to BikeRumor, the MISSION is ready to help you break your personal records on unpaved roads.

Gran Fondo Magazine
Gran Fondo Magazine is also impressed and emphasizes the enormous all-round qualities of the new gravel racer:
“With the MISSION, MERIDA introduced a race-ready gravel road bike that really stands out for its all-round versatility… thanks to its impressive versatility, solid off-road capability, strong road performance, and seriously fun handling.”
The conclusion: a bike that may not be the most extreme, but is a machine that excels in virtually every situation.

Racefietsblog: ideal for Dutch conditions
Racefietsblog from the Netherlands attended the test event to test the new MISSION and assess its capabilities for Dutch gravel paths and races. The result was a particularly favorable review:
“The Merida Mission is an ideal gravel bike for the Netherlands... This bike is really made for racing. It's the first bike that I feel is truly versatile.”
According to the testers, the immediate acceleration, stable but agile handling, and short seat stays give the MISSION a playful character that invites aggressive riding. Racefietsblog even sees potential as a cross bike.
