The new MISSION - The fastest gravel bike ever

Attentive viewers had already spotted him, because during the World Gravel Championships in Limburg a few weeks ago, Mataj Mohoric pulled off another stunt. After winning the first ever World Gravel Championship title on the not-yet-officially-launched SILEX, he repeated this feat, almost... Mohoric had to let two even stronger riders pass him and settle for the bronze medal. Once again, he rode a new, not yet launched Merida bike: we are proud to present the new and fastest gravel bike. The new MERIDA MISSION is a gravel road bike and a sporty all-rounder. The MISSION combines key geometry and frame elements from the SCULTURA ENDURANCE and SILEX with a healthy dose of racing DNA and aerodynamic knowledge and experience for a fast and responsive ride on virtually any surface. Super-sharp handling, aerodynamic properties, and lightning-fast acceleration are combined with stability, comfort, and confidence; the MISSION embodies the perfect balance between speed and control. MERIDA's new gravel bike is synonymous with its mantra: ‘fast on any surface’.

With a clear focus on performance-oriented cycling and racing, the new MISSION is only available as a CF4 carbon frame. With tire clearance up to 40 mm, there is room for gravel tires or voluminous race tires, making it feel at home on gravel, sand, forest trails, and asphalt.
The sporting ambitions of our new MISSION are reflected in the carefully shaped frame tubes and key elements such as the MERIDA TEAM SL GR1P carbon cockpits found on the three top models. Additional features such as the G.U.T. (Gear, Useful Things) frame storage compartment, DISC COOLER, and UDH compatibility further enhance the riding experience and user-friendliness.

The head angle is relaxed enough for extra control on rougher surfaces without becoming sluggish, while the aggressive stack height clearly shows the sporty intentions of the new MISSION. Finally, the low bottom bracket improves the stability and control of the MISSION, especially off-road.
