When buying a new bike, there are several things to consider. Once you have chosen your new bike, it is important to order the right frame size. In the video below, Jon Woodhouse from Merida International explains why it is so important to choose the right frame size.

Tips for choosing the right frame size

The size charts below are for reference only. Not sure which frame size to choose? Ask your Merida dealer to take your measurements to determine the right size for you, or visit the Merida Experience Center. General rules to follow when you are exactly between two sizes:

• For a more athletic riding position, choose a smaller frame
• For a more comfortable riding position, choose a larger frame
• For bikes with a suspension seat post, add approximately 3 centimeters to the frame height
